Most of us will travel on our path and not really listen. What I mean by this is not listening to the sounds of our outside world, but listening to our inside world.
Our heart is the engine room of our bodies but most don’t listen to it.
If your car starts making funny noises from the engine, you immediately start to listen and even stop the car to avoid any further damage. Why would you not do same for your heart?
You know the old saying “I can feel it in my heart” well that is so true, we all feel and have these sensations coming from our hearts. For example: When you are about to make a substantial purchase such as car, boat or anything that will put a dent in your wallet, what happens? You get a feeling in your chest. Most of us will already have made the decision to buy and will not even think what the sensation in our chest (heart) is. Most will put it down to apprehension. No my friends it is our engine giving us the last piece of advice. Our body is an amazing piece of machinery. If you put your hand in a flame it tells you to take it away. It does this faster than most computers that process data in the world. When your machine is running roughly (your sick) it heals itself. It regulates its own temperature, I think you get the point.
We have this amazing vehicle that will warn us of danger, allows us to love and hate (not that you want to hate), it gives us goose-bumps and butterflies and all the other things that we don’t even notice because we are living in the outside world!
To finish my little ramble I would like you just to take time and listen to the engine that is your heart. If you listen closely you will hear it and also feel it. If you meditate just for 10 minutes a day and listen, you will hear it loud and clear. Like most things it takes practice.
Your heart only has your best interest in mind and will never lead you astray………listen……… It is wise and it is connected to the universe.
